You've been showing signs of the true toddler these few weeks. Crossing your arms, stamping your feet and showing your displeasure by raising your voice.
You've never done it before and we wonder where you learnt it from.
Its a learning journey for daddy and mummy. We will be firm with you and letting you calm down before we talk to you. But it's up to you to learn and control your emotions. Mummy pray you will always have a teachable heart and be a good example for your little sister to follow.
The times that you show that you are still that lovable child before all these tantrum episodes far outweigh the tantrums themselves. So mummy know this is just a phase that you need to outgrow.
Mummy and daddy will pray for wisdom and patience to guide you through this. And when you are ready to be a big sister and start kindy in a few months time, you will be ready emotionally too..for 2 big milestones in your life.
You've been our only child for the last 3 years and Im sure having a little sister will change alot of things for you. But mummy knows you will be the loving sister and be a helper around us and the baby. You will not lose any love from daddy and mummy. Our hearts will be bigger with love for the both of you. You dont need to share in our love for you and your sister. God has given us more to love you as you are, individually. Dont ever forget that.
