Happy 5th Month!

5 months ago on this day, we saw each other for the first time, and I fell in love with you.

There will be so many other milestones that daddy and mummy will spend with you in the years to come, and we pray that you will enjoy every one of it.

Mummy now wishes time will pass slower and you will grow up slower.  Mummy is excited about you learning new skills every day, but it also means you will soon grow out of the "infant" baby stage, and maybe that's the time for a didi or meimei for you.  :)

Mummy's Firsts

Today's post is about mummy, for a change. Mummy spent a long time looking at you fast asleep this morning.

Mummy has had many changes to my life since you came about.

1) Becoming good at doing things with one hand, and right hand that is. Mummy's left handed. :)

2) Could hear you stir in the middle of the night, no matter how many times you've already woken up previously. Mummy used to sleep through storms. :)

3) Days are now run on 3-hour shifts,  keeping a close eye on when u wake, eat and play.  Mummy used to take naps that long.  :)

4) Days out are now planned and organised. Have to make sure you are fed before you leave, that you are fed before we get into the car. Mummy used to be absent-minded about many things, but remembers all details about you now. :)

5) Mummy never felt so blessed to when you entered in my life. Daddy used to be the only one with this status. :)

I could hear you now..playing with grandma.. and boy, my little gal has a huge voice! :) Love you..

First roll!

You rolled over from back to front today! Great job my love. We know you have been trying hard all week and how exciting now that you finally managed the feat!  Daddy prayed for you to overcome your challenges last night, and you did!

We are looking forward to each little thing you learn. And we will be here to hold you when you fall.

On a sidenote,  mummy couldn't help laughing when you cried after rolling over and couldn't roll back.

What's next? A crawl?  :)

First long day out

We had a great day out on saturday at the flower carnival. You did great in the 4 hour drive to and from Toowoomba. We are so proud of you!

A little milestone from you yesterday. You managed to finish 1.5 cubes of pureed pumpkin. My baby has grown up! 

Mummy's favourite time is in the mornings when you fall back asleep in our bed, and mummy will look at you soundly asleep, and going through the photos to compare how much you've grown. 

Continue to grow strong and happy my love. You have mummy and daddy cheering you on...every little step you make.

Mobile no more?

You grabbed Mr Elephant on your mobile today! Mummy love watching you trying hard to learn new skills. You can't sit up by yourself yet, but is so eager to crawl. Will you surprise us one day and start crawling before learning to roll over or sit?

Our prayers for you everyday is for you to be healthy and happy always. That God will always fill your heart with joy and it is this joy that will draw people to you, and to God. And the most important thing? That you will know God personally and know that He is real, to you.

Mummy used to blog alot, but stopped when facebook became the in-thing a couple of years back. Mummy was reading through my old blog entries this afternoon and loved the memories that those entries brought back.

So, Mummy decide to leave my notes to you too, as a way of keeping the precious memories of our moments together.

You are our first-born. You will always be the special one. We love you.
